Of course, not every story is visual - podcasts have become increasingly popular and are certainly a great way to share detailed stories or explore more complex issues.

I currently create the official podcast for the Bicycle Association and am working on another major series for a veteran's charity (yet to be published).

Although podcasting seems very simple and can be done with little more than an iPhone, you get much better results with proper planning and equipment.

I have a Rodecaster Pro with four Rode Mics, allowing four people to sit together and explore issues face-to-face. I also have small external mics that would enable four-person podcasts to be recorded in the great outdoors.
